Below is the steps of dismantle and install:

Q&A:

A.    After installation, original system can’t show.

Go to settings-factory-input password 1314-Car Display-Select corresponding resolution (choose 11-18 for NTG4.X car)-Return to original system to check if can show. If can’t, please repeat above steps and select other resolutions to try, until the radio can work normally.

B.    After installation, Android audio no sound.

1. Check if there is AUX option when you click audio, if has, go to settings-factory, input password 1314-vehicle, choose other as AUX auto switching; then go back to main menu and click settings, system, car AUX item position, the position of AUX item is based on original car audio position, take below picture for example, audio is behind Navi in second place, so choose 2 as AUX position 1, AUX is in the 8^th after click audio, so choose 8 as AUX position2.

 

2. If there is no AUX option when you click Audio, you need to manually switch AUX

Solution1:

NTG4.5, 4.7 systems

If your car has no AUX or AMI port, you can use the machine activation method:

turn on car ACC, turn on car CD radio, go to settings---factory, input password 1314---Vehicle ---Select, Benz AUX Activate, then car CD radio will restart automatically, you can go to original screen and check if there is AUX under audio.

 

Solution2:

Press and hold (hang up, #, number 1) three buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until popup the Engineering Mode;

Select HW Setting when pop up the interface as shown in the picture;

Select HU Parameter when pop up the interface as shown in the picture;

Select Audio AUX when pop up the interface as shown in the picture;

Select ON when pop up the interface as shown in the picture;

After setting, return to the Engineering Mode and select END to exit the engineering mode, then power off and restart the original host;

3. Check if has original fiber optic cable, if has, need to move it to our power plug.

 

C.    How to use built in carplay.

1.     go to settings of iphone---Siri & search, turn on listen for “hi Siri”

2.     Connect screen BT with your phone BT, after BT connected, go to apps and click zlink.

3.     Screen background will establish a hotspot with cellphone, after the hotspot auto connect successfully, cellphone will show an interface that needs approval to use carplay, click yes then screen will show carplay interface.

 

D.    Android music and video has audio, but navigation and BT phone call has no sound.
